Friday, Bloody Friday

I’m using “bloody” in the “Oh, bloody ‘ell another week is over” sense, but I am confident that something, somewhere in this world is happening that makes today worthy of the other sense of “bloody” as well.

So, why the chunks do so many spam robots attack my humble Book of PDR? It isn’t as though I get millions of readers that they could spread their advertising too. Robots are an idiot.

In other news, I am in the process of getting my passport (a Canadian one, since the nation of PDR has yet to be recognized by other nations). With it, I will be able to travel the world and all that. It’s gonna be sweet.

Haiku!

Deathrace 2000.
It deserves much more respect.
A classic movie.

Speaking of film, there’s this movie coming out sometime called Across the Universe, which is this romantic musical that at first I would think I would be entirely against, but the music is all Beatles stuff and the trailer makes it look like such a visual festival of craziness that I admit I am intrigued. Times like this I wish I knew women.

Oh those Golden Grahams.

Golden Grahams cereal. I like it, but it has vanished entirely from the sphere of my ken. It has not ever been at the Superstore I live above, but it was always at the Sobeys five minutes away. When I had a bad enough urge, I could find Golden Grahams with minimal effort. That has changed. When Marq and I made a trip to that Sobeys yesterday they had no Golden Grahams. The world is doomed. I must remember to do some actual research and make sure that particular cereal does indeed still exist.

On a similar thought, why are conspiracy theories always out to get me? Why aren’t more conspirators using their massive influence for my benefit? It’s thoughtless of them.

Haiku!

Immediately.
That is when I want money.
For I am a thief.

I had a long night at work and am about to not get very much sleep. On the plus side, I’m listening to Spinal Tap. So I’m doing something right.

I like Lightning

It has been way too long since I’ve said anything on here. That makes me a bad person.

Let’s see. Last night we had a pretty spectacular lightning show. It caused some malfunctions at work that made me at least an hour later than I would have been. but I had a ride home, so it all kinda works out. Plus, I like lightning.

Something big and political happened in Canada this week, but I totally don’t know what it was.

Haiku!

Thunder breaks your soul!
The searing heat makes you die!
This is God’s Lightning.

I have every intention of writing again soon. Maybe even drawing. I’ve had that intention lots of times, but I’m hoping this time it all works out correctly.

Every Part Of The Buffalo.

If, someday, I become a serial killer I hope I am cognizant of my actions enough that I also become a cannibal. Sure it would bring more risk upon myself to keep and eat the bodies than it would to hide them away somewhere, but it they’re hidden they just go to waste and that is pretty thoughtless, I think. If I eat them, it’s less wasteful and thus better for all involved.

Haiku!

Syllables are here!
Five! Seven! We have it all!
Except, of course, nine.

I don’t know how to tell if it is true or not, but I believe there is a horse on the moon.

If I am ever serial killed, I guess I’d want to be eaten rather than hidden away to rot. Even better would be if the killer left me in a hospital so all my organs and parts could be donated to other people, but what kind of serial killer would do that? Not too likely, so I guess I’ll stick with being eaten.

Behold the Storm!

Thunder and lightning is happening! That’s always cool. I’m pro-that.

Do you suppose there has ever been a man who got a rock embedded in his foot and then whenever he kicked someone he did extra damage? If so, I consider that a superpower.

Haiku!

Space is way to big.
All our rocketships can try,
But will not fill it.

I think it is this Fall that television networks are going to be allowing more time for advertisers. Is that really going to help fight against the Internets? I think not. Television networks, I think are losing this battle.
