Today I’ll Blame The Spam

Sometimes when I come here to write something, but then spend a time having to clean up the over a hundred spam comments and I just don’t feel like it any more. I honestly do love the Internet and feel that bringing the peoples of the world closer to each other and having so much information at our fingertips is awesome, but the spam just makes me want the whole thing shut off sometimes.

Honestly, I can’t see the appeal the robots that put up the spam have for my site. Ain’t nobody gonna see it. It’s not like Contains2 was, which people actually read. Ain’t nobody here to read this stuff. I don’t even know how the robots found the site.

Speaking of it, I really want Contains2 back online. I guess I’m gonna have to figure out how to make that happen…

  1. So what happened to Contains2, anyway? I’ve been a bit worried about you since I noticed it had vanished without a trace! Now I’m feeling slightly reassured, though.

  2. Holy smokes! Tucker? I had noticed that you vanished without a trace too.

Contains2 is a victim of entropy pure and simple, but all the information still exists and will be returned to the Internets when I can either figure out how to do it myself, or figure out how to make Marq do it.

  3. Well, that’s good to know.

I’ll keep up with you guys now that I know you’re not dead. Do Kip or Marq have sites?

  4. First of all, I do have a website, there’s just not a whole lot on it other than a picture I made using my face. Um … yeah.

Second of all, you’re going to *make* me do it? That worked out well. Consider it one of these “projects” that I have.

Third, you told me that one day that you was updating a whole lot more recently and I was missing out on a whole bunch of new stuff on your site. So I comes here, and find out that you’ve only written *ten* things since I last looked at it, which was only four more than my initial mocking guess. If you had updated every day since I last looked, you could have had fifty-eight new things for me to look at and then I would be shamed, but now I must continue to mock you.

And lastly, I’ll look into annihilating some of that spam.
