  - Pretty much everything written/drawn for the site is done by PDR unless
    otherwise stated.
  - PDR hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada... but he does not live there.
  - Although he has a twitter account [@PatrickDRyall], PDR does not tweet.

  Marq Edward Gould
  -----------------
  - Marq Edward Gould has a (much) lesser role as a writer on the site,
    however he has written for the site at times when PDR is vacationing.
  - Marq also comes from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada... coincidence?
  - There is a twitter account [@monohymn] that is used occasionally, and a
    website [http://monohymn.com/] that is hardly used at all by Marq.

  ABOUT THE SITE
  ==============

  - The Book of PDR is almost entirely built upon the WordPress publishing
    system [http://wordpress.org/]. A number of plugins are employed to
    provide additional functionality, including but not limited to:
      - Akismet [http://akismet.com/] stops the spam. There was a time when
        the amount of spam was abysmal. It's better now.
      - Auto Post Thumbnail [http://C2.lv/-/44x][#fn1] makes a little
        thumbnail of SecGov Robots comics! Plus, Marq tinkered with it so PDR
        doesn't have to do a damn thing for things to work!
      - Infinite Scroll [http://infinite-scroll.com/] allows you to stay on
        the page until it ends. It works on archive and tag pages, as well as
        the home page (LUNACY -- who's gonna scroll *to the beginning*?).
      - Smart Archives Reloaded [http://C2.lv/-/EAI][#fn2] makes the archive
        page really pretty.
  - The Theme of PDR v2.0 was built by Marq Edward Gould, using NotePad+
    [http://mypeecee.org/rogsoft/], FileZilla [http://filezilla-project.org/],
    and Paint.NET [http://getpaint.net/].
  - The Theme of PDR is made with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. It should validate,
    at least in theory. It was cobbled together from a few various sources:
      - Twentyeleven Theme [http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyeleven/]
      - normalize.css [http://necolas.github.com/normalize.css/]
      - @font-face Generator [http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator]
      - an unaccounted amount of time was spent staring at the ComicPress
        theme/plugin code [http://comicpress.org/], but Marq doesn't think
        he's used anything he found there. We thought we'd mention it anyway.
      - HTML5 Boilerplate [http://h5bp.com/] was quite a useful resource.
      - numerous tips and tricks from Googling "how do I do x in WordPress?"
  - Because of the bleeding-edge technology used for The Book of PDR, it's
    best you view the site in a modern browser [http://browsehappy.com/].

  - Secret Government Robots comic pages (as well as a few other images around
